Who do so many people wait until something is wrong before they make a decision to improve their circumstances?
It is becoming far more common for people to have a decision forced onto them when it comes to their health and wellbeing. They normally hit late 40's, early 50's before they decide they need to go to a gym and start to improve their lifestyle. By then, it is too late and they end up chasing their tail and are in a far worse off state to begin making some changes.
They all say the same thing, "I wish I did this 20 years ago." So why didn't they? We're not bulletproof. We're all susceptible to things happening in our lives that take away a lot of our choices, so do your best to make the right choices as early as possible so you can live life on your terms and not have your choices taken away from you.
Whether or not you're already active or not, everyone should be involved in some form of regular exercise to stay as fit as possible. This could be going to the gym, playing social sport, competitive sport, group fitness, personal training, bike riding, etc etc. We all know the importance of doing something active everyday, yet so many people don't. Why? Is it self sabotage? Or is it that they have lost the passion and forgotten how much fun it can be?
Getting back to our youth, and doing all of those fun activities to help keep us active is very important.
