Everyone down at Revive is like one big family. We support each other, encourage each other, motivate each other and always comfort each other along the journey.
Everyone comes from different beginnings, and has different end goals, but regardless of what you want to achieve, Revive has the team and the support you need to succeed.
Being able to transform peoples lives and encourage them to implement healthier habits and rituals into their daily lives is incredibly humbling for us. We get to engage weekly with our 'family' of members and to watch each one grow and transform into a healthier and happier version of their previous self.
This gives us an overwhelming sense of gratitude knowing that we have the network and support around us to make each person who walks through our door feel comfortable to let go of anything going on outside the gym doors.
We are also grateful for what our members, and the team at Revive PT are able to give back to our community. We are regularly running charity based events including some of our most recent ones where we raised over $1100 for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit @ Mercy Hospital in Melbourne.
The last fundraiser of 2015 was run to support The Smith Family Toy & Book Appeal where we raised more than 140 gifts to go to the less fortunate kids all around Australia.
On Good Friday 2016, we ran a large group workout which received a large scale of community support with several businesses donating products as prizes to further support our cause. We raised just under $1200 for The Good Friday Appeal and could not have been happier for how the day played out.
Sunday August 28th, we also get to band together again as a community and help raise money through the form of another Charity Bootcamp. This time the cause is a local family doing it tough after losing their husband and father in July 2016. This event was a great success and showed true community spirit.
On Sunday December 4th, we also ran a charity bootcamp to benefit The Smith Family Toy & Book Appeal for our second year in a row. With incredible generosity, we managed to collect a large amount of gifts that will put a lot of smiles on kids faces this Christmas. As a result of the Charity Bootcamp, combined with generous members bringing in gifts through December, we have collected a total of 153 presents to be donated to The Smith Family for kids and families doing it tough this Christmas. This is by far one of the most emotional events we have run, having 2 young kids in our house, and truly seeing the joy on their faces come Christmas morning.
These events have been incredibly humbling experiences for us, and we can't thank our members, their friends and family for all their support.
We are simply grateful for the ability to help out and to give back to help support the community that support us.
Keep an eye out for our next fundraising event and get a bunch of friends together to join in the fun!
Always help, support and encourage each other and let them know they CAN and WILL succeed if they put in the effort required.
Stay healthy,
The Team @ Revive PT
